Economical choice of healthy fusion beverages
Water as healthy fusion is usually friendly with a wallet pocket. You can save money by drinking water only when eating outside, or always bring your own water in a drink bottle.
Set your calories
Drink mineral water at your meal. Adults and children need 400 calories per day, including those obtained from drinks.
Kid friendly drinks
Make mineral water, low-fat or fat-free milk, or natural (homemade) fruit juice to be the main choice of drinks in your home. Prepare a bottle of mineral water and healthy drinks to always be available in the refrigerator. Store a drinking bottle in a lunch box or backpack so that it is easily accessible when children are not at home. Depending on the age, children can drink ½ to 1 cup, and adults can drink up to 1 cup of 100% fruit or vegetable juice per day.
Don’t forget your milk
When you choose milk or look for milk substitutes, choose low or fat free, or soy milk. Each type of milk offers similar nutrients, such as calcium, vitamin D, and potassium, but the amount of calories will be different. Older children, adolescents, and adults need 3 cups of milk per day, while children 4 to 8 years need 2.5 cups, and children aged 2 to 3 years need 2 cups.
Enjoy your drink
When mineral water is not enough, enjoy a drink of your choice, but not too much. Remember to pay attention to the serving dosage and the number of calories written on cans, bottles, or packaging to stay within the range of calories needed. Choose small cans, cups, or cups compared to larger sizes.
